Some time has passed, during which I had no chance to use Perl, and started instead to learn and like Python. I thought that it would be much better to rewrite Custom Burner from scratch using Python, because it's just easier for me. And nobody has committed any improvement to Custom Burner so far, so this decision should not disappoint any developer. ;-)
Another important change is that I closed the CVS repository and started a SVN one. You will find the latest development snapshot of Custom Burner if you'll connect to the Subversion repository. Instructions are here.

Custom Burner is a Python (ex-Perl) script that allows to burn CD/DVDs on multiple computers. It's composed of a server, that handles CD requests, and a client module, that burns the CDs as instructed by the server.
Each client can work with one burner device; so you can run multiple clients on the same computer if you have more burners.
The modules communicate through a network connection.
The latest version is 0.5. You can dowload it from the BerliOS' interface.
